If you discover any issues or bugs while using this voicebank, please report them here: Contact meThe resampler and template projects can be found in the _RESOURCE folder. Move the resampler folder to a convenient location. To start a new project, use the ustx template for OpenUtau and the ust template for Classic UTAU.
tn_fnds (and derivatives like macres) are looping resamplers that preserve the texture of gritty vocals. Other resamplers will smear the texture by stretching the audio, or produce unrealistic noise, or remove the grittiness entirely. The W330
flag will manually specify the base pitch of the notes as 330Hz, which is the average recorded pitch. This will prevent tn_fnds from making pitch errors.
In OpenUtau, change the track renderer to CLASSIC, then open the settings and change the resampler to tn_fnds.
Use Tools > Expressions to add the W330
flag.
In Classic UTAU, this is set in Project > Project Property.
If individual notes sound off-key, you can adjust them using the Draw Pitch tool in OpenUtau or with the t flag in classic UTAU.
This voicebank was recorded with SalemWasteland's English reclist (beta version 1A 0.8.1) with a custom addon for the 4
(tapped r) consonant. For the most part, this is compatible with OpenUtau's Delta Ver 1 English phonemizer. The "er" vowel is notated as @r
instead of 3
.
In Classic UTAU, you will need to manually transcribe English words into X-SAMPA and chop notes into phonemes. The following alias formats are available.
[- V]
[- C] (some, not all)
[V]
[V V] (some, not all)
[V C] (transition)
[CV]
[C C] (transition)
[V -]
[C -]
Phonemes should be connected end-to-end like dominos, to ensure smooth blending between each sample.
